Approach
I am an assistant teacher in Politics, with experience delivering Thinking Politically and Political Concepts. My seminaras seek to produce highly critical, engaging and inclusive discussions around the core unit readings. As a member of the Residential Life Services at the University of Bristol make sure my students know that I can offer pastoral support for students and point them to university services when required.
Shortlisted for Students' Awards for Outstanding Teaching by a Postgraduate Student in June 2018.

Lecturer - Universidad de Insurgentes
In Mexico I was the Lecturer for several pre-designed courses including: Introduction to International Relations, History of Political and Social Thought, International Commerce, International Politics of the Middle East, and International Cooperation.
During one academic year I delivered several units and provided feedback for the International Relations programme at the Universidad de Insurgentes.
Widening Participation
University of Bristol – supervised by Helen Doyle Faculty Engagement Officer
- Design and develop content for social science lecture modules: critical thinking, diversity, multiculturalism, gender & LGBTQ+, and staying safe online
- Deliver sessions in person and online to students from 11-17 years of age from underrepresented backgrounds; delivered sessions for the Cambridge University HE+ Programme, and Higher Programme Qualification.
PhD tutor for The Brilliant Club - Scholar's programme
- Create and deliver research projects tailored to pupils from underrepresented backgrounds to increase their knowledge/confidence about higher education
- Supervise and grade projects of 9-18-year-olds from non-selective state schools using university making guidelines
These two experiences have led to very meaningful interactions with young people from a wide range of backgrounds and highlights my continued commitment and passion not only to education but to the development of student experiences, building academic confidence, and skill building.
